This styled wedding shoot at the Mountain Air Strip Farm is a love letter to garden parties. With soft pastels, lush blooms, and vintage touches, this styled wedding shoot was a pure magic. I’m bringing you all the details from this day for your *dream wedding* Pinterest board!
Mountains & Meadows Wedding Styled Shoot
While garden weddings can range from woodsy forest celebrations to fairytale weddings, this styled shoot was inspired by vintage charm and ethereal summer. Each talented vendor provided thoughtful details to bring this vision to life. Make sure to check out each talented artist with the links at the very bottom of this page!
Bringing the Magic to Life
New York wedding planner and day-of-coordinator, Katie Hawkins, brought the magic to life. Katie said her inspiration for the shoot was to blend “soft, creamy tones with pops of pinks and pale blue against the venue’s lush mountain backdrop.” Her goal was to find the perfect balance between the “rustic, vintage, and cottage-core” elements of the outdoor venue.
Katie has such a great eye for styling and worked wonders creating a playful and vintage-inspired wedding. She made it so easy for me to focus on my job for the day—capturing everyone’s gorgeous work!
Garden Wedding Location
The romantic garden wedding photoshoot took place at Mountain Air Strip Farm, a newly-opened wedding venue in Corinth, New York. With 171 acres of lush meadows, Mountain Air Strip Farm is perfect for summertime weddings.
Also nestled on the venue is The McCarthy House, the former home of lyricist Joe McCarthy. We used the 6-bedroom farmhouse to prep for the magic. This gorgeous space is perfect for bridal parties to get ready for the big day.
Outside, we were greeted by sunshine through the woodland trees. The farm provided such a serene atmosphere and the most stunning backdrop for a summer garden party.
Classic Garden Wedding Florals
While this was a summer-inspired shoot, it felt like spring in full bloom. Bar Fiore designed the classic garden bouquet featuring roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. The talented, Hudson Valley florist also created the centerpieces, trellis florals, and statement arrangements.
Jessie, the owner, first opened Bar Fiore as a flower trailer and festival bar in 2020. But after a blooming business, she expanded her expertise to weddings to provide locally grown flowers to couples on their wedding day.
Jessie’s floral magic truly brought the vision to life. And the groom’s pocket boutonnière was just too perfect!
Decorations for Garden Party Weddings
Golden Garden Parties provides picnics and garden party packages in Saratoga Springs. The vendor team curated the tablescape for an intimate reception gathering. Blush accents and intricate golden details topped the farm tables. And they added gorgeous color to the scene with glassware, dainty plates, and vintage candles.
Romeo and Juliet rentals supplied the French country farm tables and loveseat. This husband-wife team helps couples achieve their wedding decor dreams with affordable wedding rentals. All of the farm tables are hand-crafted by the duo. Their soft blue loveseat also looked stunning under the afternoon sun.
Event in a Tent also contributed wooden furniture for the ceremony inspiration. The natural timber benches against the green meadow balanced the whimsical with a rustic feel.
Bridal Attire
None of these dreamy images would exist without our models, Sydney and Tyler!
Sydney was dressed by Something Bleu Bridal. The Saratoga Springs bridal boutique couldn’t have selected better accessories. Sydney looked like she was stepping right onto the set of Bridgerton wearing tulle gloves and a cathedral-length veil.
Makeup by Ghosti Glow Beauty was clean and polished with pink tones and blushed skin. Hair was styled by Beauty by Chicky and pulled back into soft braids for a natural look. Our model was glowing thanks to this talented collab of Hudson Valley artists.
Cookies & Cake for a Garden Party Wedding
The Cookie Boss and Flour Child Bakery teamed up to serve the dessert table. And I just can’t say enough about how talented these two are!
Briana decorated a whimsical (and cuuuute) sugar cookie set of flowers and hand-painted messages. And of course, they tasted just as sweet as they looked!
And finally—a little commotion for the cake!! I will be forever obsessed with Taylor’s vintage-inspired heart cake. It was (almost) too magical to eat… but, of course, it didn’t stand a chance.
I’ll be swooning over this garden party-inspired shoot all summer long! Getting to work with this incredible team of vendors was such a privilege. No detail was left uncoordinated, thanks to Katie Hawkins Co. She had a stunning vision, and capturing it was so fun. Cheers to collaboration, gorgeous photoshoots, and summer garden parties!
